Transformation Tuesday: 75 lbs in 71 weeks

finally reached 75 pounds lost since I started on my diet. That brings down to 167, and I’m 6’0″. I don’t really have a goal weight in mind, right now I’m working on my fat mass. When I started in January 2014, my fat mass (as measured by my Withings Smart Body Analyzer) was 32.4%, and now it’s down to 14%. My blood pressure has gotten down to a very healthy 96/56! Of course, running 410 miles so far this year has helped, too!

How I lost 62 pounds in one year

One year ago today, I weighed 62 pounds more than I weigh now. Like a lot of people, I needed to lose weight and I made a New Years Resolution to do it. We were in Florida for the last 2 weeks of 2013 and the first seven days of 2014. When we returned, I stepped on a new set of scales that I got my wife for Christmas. The Withings Smart Body Analyzer. I was shocked at the number on the scale. It was 241.6! How had this happened? Here’s the story of how I lost the weight.
